Become a Mentor

Lead the way.

Finding the leaders to pave the path for
the next generation.

The Greater Fellowship Program empowers young adults to help pave a new pathway for underrepresented youth. Our residential program focuses on industry immersion, mentorship, and professional development, while providing the necessary training and education for our Fellows to succeed in a career in tech.

This program is open to young adults from all backgrounds, particularly student athletes who have followed the path to professional athleticism and are now changing directions. Many students, particularly those in underserved communities, are presented with one clear path to success - the path to become a professional athlete. For the 99.9% that do not reach this goal, we have created this program to empower them to continue towards success and leadership. Although we aim to recruit athletes, we encourage applications from anyone that is ready to dive into the tech industry, serve the community, and lead the way as a role model for the next generations.

Fellows will work with Greater to create a personalized development plan. Fellows will work on their development through leadership training, community outreach and networking, and one-on-one mentorship.

Fellows are actively involved with Greater’s various programs, events, and community service.

Fellows devote time to mentoring and teaching students of local, underserved schools.

Fellows will be mentored by leaders of the tech community, giving Fellows the opportunity to speak one-on-one with industry leaders.

Additional enrichment includes industry events, touring major tech companies, local events, and lectures.
